Why coaching?
Coaching is the most powerful, focused, and flexible learning approach for you as an executive leader. Leaders use coaching to discuss current and future challenges in a professional setting to leverage their full potential and effectiveness.
- Reflect your decisions and strategies with an experienced observer of organizational, team, and market dynamics.
- Get valuable feedback and discuss interesting questions in a relaxed and confidential setting.
- Achieve your goals and success criteria using up to date self assessment and learning tools covering all important topics for your personal success.
Who for?
All leaders strongly benefit from coaching. Successful leaders learn fast starting with cutting edge personal development enabling them to also facilitate the learning and development of others. The higher your position the more important honest and impartial personal feedback becomes. Open exchange with an experienced coach who understands you and your role is a fundamental success factor that saves you time, leverages your power and influence and helps you achieve your goals better.
How does it work?
There are different ways of doing coaching depending on the situation which could be
- to reflect important decisions or changes
- take stock and plan a professional reorientation
- prepare for a new role
- implementing a personal development plan
- enable regular personal self reflection and feedback
- navigate through crisis or conflict
- leadership training in a personal setting
- facilitating team development
- and more
Thus, coaching can be anything from a one-off session, to a multi-step process of several months to a regular and ongoing sparring partner structure - to enhance and focus your learning and self reflection. Typically, a coaching session lasts around 1 hour. If bundled it can be up to 6 hours at once depending on the goals. Our free first meeting is there to define which process steps are right for you and to define goals and conditions between coach and coachee.

Hi, my name is Gerald,
I’m a German engineer by education, a passionate change leadership coach and performing artist. Living in Germany, Australia and now Shanghai has allowed me to work with leaders from Europe, the US, China, Japan, Australia, Korea, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and more. After my Engineering PhD in Chemnitz I started working for Daimler in Stuttgart in 1991 and soon became member in Dieter Zetsche’s change management team. That’s when I began to study change, leadership coaching, group dynamics, and psychology. I had the invaluable opportunity to directly learn from most advanced scolars like Edgar H. Schein, David Kantor, Larry Hirschhorn, Wolfgang Looss, Hans Jellouschek, Claus Otto Scharmer, Matthias Varga von Kibed, Richard Timel and more. In 1999 I co-founded deloop management consulting in Stuttgart and in 2015 deloop management consulting Asia. I was fortunate enough to coach many leaders and leadership teams of different cultures globally in companies like:
Daimler, Heidelberger Druck, Atlas, Infineon, Lufthansa, Heraeus, BMW, VW, Evonic, Porsche, ASAM, Dürr, Deutsche Bahn, Raiffeisen, Rolls Royce and more. Executive Programs include: Hernstein General Management Program (HGMP) in Vienna, Corporate Entrepreneurship in China (CEIC) with innova in Shanghai, and projects in APAC with OSB international.
